Hi I'm Capslock

An(n)a was born in the Caribbean and spent her childhood a 15-minute drive away from the beach where she never bothered to learn how to swim. She once won a year's supply of Chick-Fil-A sandwiches on a local game show; she doesn't eat chicken. Much like a puppy around new friends, she doesn't know how to hide her enthusiasm. She lives in New York where she goes to school and moonlights as an astrologer (not really). Sometimes she reads fanfiction, research abstracts, the ingredients on sauce bottles, natal charts, Terms of Service and warranty labels, and The Onion. Sometimes she even reads books.

Hi I'm Capslock

I went on cubmail and found out that my new lit hum professor added Moby Dick to our syllabus. It’s a lot. It’s a lot and normally I would shrug and admit to myself from months in advance that I will not read it. But Moby Dick is one of my favorite books. And last semester Lit Hum was my favorite class.

So I’m going to read Moby Dick and I’m going to enjoy the fuck out of discussing it in Lit Hum.
